Part 2: Gurleen 30 sec- contrapuntal Contrapuntal sound is music that is not normally associated with the scene. For the second half of the video, we decided to use violent, boxing pictures to contrast the first half of the picture, which accompanied the sound very well. The pictures that we used in the last 30 seconds create a disturbing scene, while the first half seems calm and composed. Plan/ ideas: Firstly, my partner and I decided to use a classical piece of music that is calm and peaceful. Next, my partner found pictures to add for the first 30 seconds—these pictures were used to show the idea of parallel sound, e.g., ancient paintings and romantic paintings.
